ALARM SYSTEMS

  • An alarm system integrated with the other devices in the building: The system can include motion detectors, smoke and carbon monoxide sensors, door and window sensors and humidity/flood sensors, all connected to a central alarm system. Of course, the sensors can come from different manufacturers (Nest, Netatmo, Akto, Sonoff, Inkbird, Tuya, Ecowitt, etc.). The owner receives instant notifications in case of an intrusion or a dangerous situation.
  • A presence-based alarm system: It detects movement in the house and triggers an alarm to deter intruders. A warning can be sent to several recipients at once, depending on the time of the event or on each person’s availability (e.g. if the owner is in a meeting with the phone in DND – Do Not Disturb – mode, we notify the neighbour).
  • The alarm system can be armed automatically when all the occupants are a certain distance from the house (e.g. 10 km), preventing the situations where arming is forgotten. Likewise, it can be disarmed automatically when you come within 100 m of the house.
  • Several operating modes can be defined in the alarm system, e.g. arm only the ground floor and the outside/yard when you sleep upstairs, it is past 22:00 on a weekday, there is no more movement in the house and both adults are in the bedroom.
  • The system can open the gate automatically as you approach the house, close it automatically once you have driven away, and close the gates, the garage door or other roller shutters automatically after 23:00 (or another time you set) so that they are not left open by mistake.

PRESENCE SIMULATION

  • Presence simulation: When you are on holiday, switching on the TV, the lights, the blinds or other devices according to a schedule creates the impression that someone is at home, which can help deter potential intruders and increase the safety of the house or property.
  • Safety day and night: The alarm system monitors presence in different areas of the house, adapting to the owner’s needs and daily routine. The same presence sensor serves both the security function and motion detection in the rooms.
  • App notifications for unwanted events: The owner receives alerts on the phone, with a photo from the camera that captured the event, whenever the security system detects an unusual situation.
  • Lights that flash when the alarm is triggered: The lighting system of the house can be connected to the alarm system, giving a strong visual signal in case of an alarm. The speakers can play a message announcing that the police are on their way and that cameras have recorded the situation.

WATER LEAK CONTROL

  • Detection of water leaks: Through the humidity sensors and the water monitoring system, the owner is notified immediately of water leaks or high humidity levels in sensitive places such as the kitchen, bathroom, attic or basement. Everything happens automatically, to minimise damage to the contents of the house: by automatically closing solenoid valves, the cold and hot water can be shut off instantly, so that no further damage occurs before you get home.
  • Depending on the weather forecast or the readings of a rain sensor, the windows (Velux Integra or any other brand) or the window roller shutters are operated automatically to prevent damage inside the house. The same systems can also be triggered when the wind speed exceeds a certain value or the outdoor temperature leaves a certain range.
